OS 6" map (1957)

White Cairn (Name Book 1855) consisting only of stones measures about 25m in diameter and varies in height from 1.0m to 2.5m, accentuated by the height of the rocky knoll on which it stands. It has been considerably robbed and a modern cairn has been built on the north side.
