This cairn is situated on low-lying peat moorland on the W side of the Cross Water of Luce. It measures about 17m in diameter and, although heavily robbed, the cairn material still rises up to 0.7m above the surface of the surrounding peat. This cairn is probably the 'ring of water-worn stones on a low peat moss' referred to by Wilson.

RCAHMS 1987, visited (SH) 25 October 1985; G Wilson 1899
