A cairn about 65 feet in diameter more than half of which has been removed. The remains are about 7 feet high. No cist is exposed and there is no evidence that the interment has been disturbed.

A large cairn generally as described by RCAHMS except that it is 26.0m in diameter and circa 3.0m high.
Resurveyed at 1:2500.

A cairn stands on a low knoll 40m S of the approach road to Barnshangan and about 450m W of the farmhouse. It measures 21m in diameter by up to 2m in height but has been disturbed by a large quarry-pit on the N. A fringe of field-cleared stones has been dumped around the edges of the cairn on the E and S.
