(NT 9302 6145) Dovecot (NAT).

OS 6" map, Berwickshire, 2nd ed., (1909).

Although this dovecot is beehive-shaped, the date over the entrance is '1743'. The walls are of rubble sandstone and the roof of stone slabs. It is still in use.

A N Robertson 1957.

This 16th century dovecot has been re-roofed recently. The date-stone is an insertion.
