NT 839 609. Cropmarks (RCAHMS, flown 1980), show a roughly circular enclosure (measuring about 42m in diameter within its ditch) situated on a S-facing slope 300m N of Greenburn farmhouse (NT86SW 61.00).

Watching Brief (15 August 2012 - 14 September 2012)
NT 839 609 A watching brief was carried out, 15 August – 14 September 2012, during the installation of a new electricity line and removal of an existing power network at Greenburn. The work was carried out within the area of a scheduled ancient monument (Greenburn – enclosure and pit alignments), but no finds or features of archaeological significance were recorded.
