NT85SW 5 c.84 52.

Blackadder Chapel which was sub-ordinate to Edrom parish church (J Ferguson 1892) was situated 2-3 miles down river from Kimmerghame Chapel (NT85SW 3). No trace of it remains. West Mains of Blackadder (NT 844 523) was sometimes called Capellanum or Chapelland.
