Visible on OS air photogrpahs 65.100 186-7: flown 1965.

An irregular, but prominent, flat-topped cairn, 1.8m high; there is no evidence that it is sepulchral. It is situated on top of a hillock, but nearby hill tops have certain clearance heaps on their summits.

Surveyed at 1/2500.

Visited by OS(RD) 3 May 1966.
