(NT 6500 2056) Tower (NR) (Site of)

OS 25"map, (1921).

This tower stood at the entrance of the Kirk Wynd, and guarded the approach to the Abbey from the Market Place. Its date of erection and destruction are not known; but it is known to have been occupied by Andrew Ker in 1629.

Name Book 1859.

No further information.
