A settlement has been recorded as cropmarks on oblique aerial photography (RCAHMSAP 1978, 1980, 1993, 1998, 2000) on the NE flank of St Leonard's Hill. The settlement is roughly rectangular on plan, measuring about 100m by about 80m within a ditch about 2m wide. There is an entrance on the SE side and a further gap at the S corner. There are possible roundhouses in the interior. The field is crossed by the cropmarks of field drains.
