A brewhouse was among the original buildings of Dryburgh Abbey.

The remains of the brewhouse are still extant.

Surveyed at 1:2500.

Visited by OS (WDJ) 22 February 1961

"There is no good evidence for the nature of this structure and it would be best to leave it, with some misgiving, as 'Brewhouse'".
