Bronze leaf-shaped Sword found at Craigleith Quarry. Preserved in Hunterian Museum, University of Glasgow (B.1914 - 337).

W Henderson 1938; J M Coles 1962.

(Ewart Park type - Northern unclassified). Possibly from Craigleith Quarry, as Coles has listed a sword from this location which is not at present traceable; from the Hunterian Museum (no. 1914.337). It is possible that this is the same sword, re-numbered.

Sword, with top of hilt missing. Length 54.55cm, shoulder width 5.45cm, maximum blade width 4.55cm. Patchy dark green patina; rivets ?:4, one in situ. Glasgow, Hunterian Museum (B.1951.3223).

C B Burgess and I Colquhoun 1988.
