OS (GIS) MasterMap, November 2009.

St Margaret's Well is a spring well from which a spring flows to the high water mark. There are no traditions as to whether it was a holy well. Local informants suppose that it was named after Queen Margaret, sometimes called St Margaret.

Name Book 1855

Warren Well, often called St Margaret's Well.

T Orrock 1880

This spring well was thought to be names after Queen Margaret. This was too far inland and was not visited during the survey.
