A typical bridge is described on NS97NW 61.02, q.v. The canal basin (NT07SE 69) lies immediately E of the bridge.]
(Undated) information in NMRS.
Just to the E of this bridge are the Union Canal offices of British Waterways and the canal ranger (NT07SE 70).
H Brown 1997.
This bridge is clearly visible on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Linlithgowshire 1856, sheet 6), on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1983) and on the OS Basic Scale digital map (2000).
Just to the E of this bridge the canal basin (NT07SE 69) is visible on all three maps and the offices recorded by Hamish Brown (NT07SE 70) are clearly shown on the two latter maps, one office marked as canal cottage on both maps and the other, by the side of the canal, marked as Depot on the OS 1:10000 raster map (ND).
