All vestiges of the fortalice which existed at Cormiston Tower farm have long ago disappeared. The Ordnance Survey Name Book (ONB) states that it stood in the neighbourhood of the steading.

(Centred NT 001 372) No trace of this tower was discovered. Cormiston Tower farmstead is now known as Home Farm.
