The key objectives of the cultural heritage assessment were to; identify the cultural heritage features present within the site and surrounding area (and potential for undiscovered remains); define the cultural heritage baseline within the context of relevant legislation, guidance and national planning policy: identify potential impacts of both the construction and operation of the proposed development on the cultural heritage resource; assess the significance of the predicted impacts; propose measures, where appropriate, to mitigate any predicted significant adverse impacts.
