NT02NE 7 c.08 28.

An Early Iron Age bronze chape of Piggott's Bugthorpe type was found in June 1899, in a molehill, c. 1200' OD on a hillside near the head of Glencotho Burn and 50 yds from it. It was donated to the National Museum of Antiquities of Scotland (NMAS) and is dateable to the second half of the first century BC. (NMAS FA73)
