NT02NE 6 0995 2506.

The New Statistical Account (NSA) states that about 1788 a cist containing an urn was found beneath a cairn on Nether Oliver. The exact location is unknown.

NSA 1845 (G Burns); RCAHMS 1967, visited 1962

Buchan and Paton, however, state that it was on the Crook Hill, where Oliver Castle once stood (at NT 0995 2506 - see NT02NE 1).
