The site of the ancient Chapel of St. Magnus, well known locally. 'There is nothing either historical or traditional to show when it was last used as a place of worship. It must have been however over two hundred years ago (i.e. 17th C) as about that time the church of Hillswick was built' (HU27NE 13).
