Leper House, Stirling: There are frequent references to this hospital from 1464 until 1513, but nothing is heard of it after this date, and it does not appear to have survived the Reformation. It lay at the E end of Stirling, and in 1497 is called the grantgore "at the toune end of Strivelin".

(Centred: NS 794 930) The Lepers' Croft was situated on the S boundary of Allan Park, i.e., the present glebe occupies the site. A hospital for lepers was erected here.
