Note (1978)

Booneck NS c. 790 783 NS77NE

A 'round tumulus consisting of earth and stone' was recorded at this location in 1732. Horsley however sees it as standing 'just on the wall' and suggests that it was an ‘exploratory mount’ rather than a barrow.
