OS 25" map (1856)
The grave of the martyr, Thomas Flemming is in the graveyard at Loudoun Kirk. The headstone is inscribed: 'Here lies Thomas Flemming of Loudoun Hill, who for his appearing in arms in his own defence and in defence of the Gospel according to the obligations of Our National Covenants and agreeable to the Word of God was shot in a Rencounter at Drumclog June 1st 1679 by bloody Graham of Claverhouse' (Name Book 1856). Gibson (1881) also describes this stone, but says that the grave is E of the Tower of Loudoun (NS53NW 8).

Not located. There are, however, a number of worn, illegible stones in the graveyard.
