The fortalice, 'the Tour of Airdoch' once the dwelling place of the Bunteins,was supplanted by a mansion which occupied the site of Mr McKinlay's stack-yard. This mansion disappeared about 1874.

Ardoch House (In Ruins) - In front of this farmhouse (Ardochmore) is situated the Old Mansion of Ardoch. It was built about the beginning of the 17th century.
