NR 9386 8282. A rectangular structure outlined by walls, 5'6" wide, with rounded corners, and heavily kerbed on both sides, is situated on a green terrace S of NR98NW 2. The overall dimensions are 45' N-S by 26'. Further S are vaguely outlined circular foundations and stone alignments.

G A F Knight 1937.

NR 9383 8284: The sub-rectangular enclosure utilises outcrop on the W whilst the S side is open-ended. It is possibly a stock enclosure and is of unknown age. No other structures were located.

Visited by OS (D W R), 9 November 1972.

A rectangular, stone-walled enclosure with an open south end measures externally 11.0m N-S by 7.5m. The stone wall is 1.3m wide and 0.2m high. This enclosure, although of uncertain age and purpose, does not represent the remains of a Celtic chapel.
