OS 25" map, (1910)

A single large stone block, similar to those in stone circle (NR93SW 1.02).

Source: Name Book 1864.

Field Visit (19 September 1977)

The above authorities give no positive evidence of a stone circle. On inspection, a single isolated standing stone was found similar in position and description to those of NR93SW 38.

It measures 0.6m high, 1.0m long, 0.6m wide and is of granite. There is no suggestion of it being part of a circular feature and its purpose and origin are uncertain.

Surveyed at 1:10 000.

Visited by OS (J R L) 19 September 1977.
