Archaeology Notes

NR69SE 4 662 902.

NR 662 902. Excavations by Mercer at Lealt Bay have produced around 50,000 flint and other stone artifacts, mainly microliths and considered to be Upper Paleolithic in date. No structures were found, though some concentrations of charcoal, associated with the artifacts, were noted (cf NR69SE 3).
