Location Notes: The panel is situated on a gentle W facing slope, in a pheasant covert, a few metres away from a small lochan. There are extensive views towards Bengairn and over the Dee Estuary. The panel forms part of a cluster of rock art that includes Park of Tongland 1 and 2. It lies just over 1m from Park of Tongland 2.
Panel Notes: The greywacke out crop is roughly square in shape, measuring 0.5 x 0.5m, although the whole rock is 1.2m long. It sits on the crown of a small ridge and rises slightly above the surrounding ridge ground level. It was hidden by turf and lichen. It has a smooth flat surface which slopes at 20 degrees to the NW. The panel is split by several fissures. There are 5 cups with a maximum depth of 1.5cm. There are random peck marks all over the surface.
