The 1st edition of the OS 25-inch map (Perthshire 1866, Sheet LXXXVI.9) depicts a disused quarry 370m NE of Blairhall farmsteading (NO12NW 96), serviced by a track from the S. Its interior is now obscured by a dense growth of trees.
