Depicted on the 6-inch 1st edition ordnance survey Peebles-shire, Sheet XIX (includes: Broughton, Glenholm And Kilbucho; Crawford; Culter; Drumelzier; Tweedsmuir) (1859).
Although in relatively poor condition the site is located on a steep west facing slope on the NW edge of the study area. The stone wall, although in poor condition is still a distinct feature in the landscape. Oval in shape and approximately measures 216m (n-s) by 150m (e-w).
