Description
This slab narrows slightly towards the foot. It has a wide, plain raised border, with inner expansions to suggest angle-knobs at the surviving end. The outline cross with very small circular armpits appears to have been plain, and its background is filled with interlace patterns of thick cords. Across the side-arms and centre of the cross-head is the secondary inscription I E A M E S I E G K above M A R G E T I B S O N, and possibly a date below.
Date: tenth or eleventh century.
