Field Visit (11 February 2016)
This boundary stone was not seen on the date of visit and it has probably been removed. It is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 25-inch map (Edinburghshire 1896, Sheet 003.07) standing at the north-west corner of the former War Department property around Edinburgh Castle, immediately south of the railway line. The exact form of the stone is not known.
