HU25NE 16 2575 5766

HU 258 580 (Calder 1965a) Two mounds of burnt stones at the south margin of a small loch at the base of 'The Runie.'

RCAHMS 1946, visited 1931.

These mounds situated at HU 2574 5766 at the head of a valley close to a dried-out marshy area are actually parts of one mound. the larger W part is crescentic, 1.7m high, the smaller E part is oval, 0.9m high.

Surveyed at 1/2500.

There are two burnt mounds at the S margin of a small loch at the base of "The Runie".
