The ‘Floating Head’ sculpture was created by artist Roland Groom and featured as part of the 1988 Glasgow Garden Festival (Canmore ID 44232). It now sits on the S bank of the River Clyde, adjacent to a scrap yard. It comprises the lower hull of a boat with a fibre glass moulded head on the top. It currently stands upright on its prow and appears to stare N across the river.
