Field Visit (16 December 2014)

240m NNE of Lamington Bridge (NS93SE 45), a double span bridge has been constructed to enable flood water from the River Clyde to pass underneath the embankment upon which the railway line sits. The feature is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Lanark 1864, Sheet XLIII).
