Activities

Archaeological Evaluation (24 October 2011 - 18 November 2011)

NH 551 603 A trial trenching evaluation was carried out, 24 October – 18 November 2011, in advance of a housing development. The evaluation covered 5% (1582m2) of the development. Evidence of French drains, levelling, stone clearance, tree planting and infilling of hollows to create a gentle profile, were considered to reflect 19th-century landscaping work associated with the creation of a park for Tulloch Castle.
