Field Visit (June 1979)
Circular kelp-burning pits 1.5m diameter at extreme landward
end of holm, 6506 4572. Drying racks at 6507 4576. Two small
rectangular foundations, probably kelpers' bothies, 6504 4581.
Other structures are inextricably confused with the natural
boulder-beach and with the debris of the chapel.

Field Visit (1999)
Several kelp-burning pits and drying walls are located on the inner holm. The pits measure about 2m in diameter and are 0.5m deep. Ref.: RCAHMS (1980), #216.
