HY62SE 3 6858 2356.

This fine specimen lies on a boggy hillside. It is 29m N-S, along the contour, and 22m E-W, with a general height of 1.9m but rising steeply to a knob 2.5m high at the N end, where trampling by cattle has exposed burnt stones.

A burnt mound c. 2.5m high. OS visit Jul 70.

Prominently sited and extensive burnt mound 2.5m high on

hillside, surrounded by boggy ground.

E-W 22m, N-S 29m, oval, general height 1.9m but rising

steeply to a 2.5m high knoll at N end, where the content of burnt

stones is exposed by cattle-wear. The axis of the mound lies

along the contour.
