World War One Audit of Surviving Remains (3 July 2013)

A file in the National Archives dated September 1915 (The National Archives WO78/5185) shows a location map, site plan and a series of cross sections for a dam and reservoir to supply water to the Cloch Point Battery. The reservoir still exists.

A project to characterise the quantity and quality of the Scottish resource of known surviving remains of the First World War. Carried out in partnership between Historic Scotland and RCAHMS.
