Activities

Field Visit (September 2011 - September 2011)

Situated on a small, level patch of ground, just beside the Allt a' Ghlas-choire, are the remains of an oval drystone pen. Built to incorporate a large boulder, the pen measures c4m by c2m, with stones set up to 4 courses high (c0.8m) creating an enclosing wall c0.4m thick. The pen is located in a particularly rich but tiny area of summer grazing.
