Present location: in the burial ground at A’ Chill.
Evidence for discovery: found in the burial-ground at A’ Chill. It is likely to have come from the earlier burial ground close to cross no 12.
Present condition: water-worn and broken into two fragments.
Description
Towards the top of this pillar-like slab is incised a Latin cross with forked terminals.
Date range: seventh or eighth century.

(6) Burial-ground. Waterworn pillar of Torridonian sandstone, 1.2m by 0.26m by 100mm thick and broken into two unequal parts. It bears a Latin cross with forked terminals, 0.25m high and 0.15m in span, formed with a shallow U-section groove. (Collingwood, W G, in The Antiquary, 42 (1906), 372).
