Activities

Field Visit (21 September 1997 - 21 September 1997)

There are slight traces of rig cultivation or feanagan in the N part of this field. A series of drainage channels suggest that the area was machine ploughed in the recent past.

This is a remnant of a former rig cultivated field which has been ploughed and drained well-into this century. The field may originally have been associated with the settlement nearby (KIN104).

Information from NTS: KIN105 (JH and JW) 21st September 1997
