Archaeology Notes

NO32SE 18 3752 2315.

(Area: NO 375 231) In an open field, and about 150 yds N of the mound (NO32SE 17) is another mound. It does not seem to conform to local topographical features and is approximately 90ft long x 45ft wide, at its widest part, and is 3ft high.

Information from J Bryce, Druimfas, Gauldry, Newport-on-Tay, February 1965.

The feature, pointed out on the ground by Bryce at NO 3752 2315, is an area of natural outcrop, under grass in an arable field.

Visited by OS (RD) 11 June 1970.
