A broch now represented by a grass-grown mound, 12' high. On the W side, four or five courses of the outer face are exposed for some distance. Towards the SW a line of masonry seems to run off to the edge of the shelving rocks. No further indication of the ground plan is apparent.
RCAHMS 1946, visited 1931

Field Visit (July 2014)
Site visit in July, 2014. The structure retains a natural stone shore defence which protects what remains of this broch. That natural shore protection and its situation, within the end of the Voe of Footabrough, affords a decent level of protection from further erosion.
