Ferryfield Printworks is depicted and named on the Ordnance Survey First edition 25-inch county map (Dumbarton, 1864, sheet XVIII.9) and the 3rd edition (Dumbarton, 1918, sheet XVIII.9). This was one of many textile print and dye works in the Vale of Leven area.
