Field Visit (2010)

NT 2395 5232 About 500m NW of Nether Falla Farm is the

ruin of Tileworks House, all that remains of the tile works

shown on the 1st Edition OS map. The walls stand mostly to

roof level, and the roof has collapsed. The old brick kiln to

the NW of the house has been demolished and a depression

to the W of the house marks the location of the clay pit.
