Archaeology Notes

NG77NE 37 7955 7854

Oblique aerial photography (RCAHMSAP 2009) has recorded the remains of a what may be a hut circle, or less likely a sheepfold, on the E flank of Maol Bail a’Gobhainn about 100m SW of a causeway (NG77NE 36). A rectangular feature, possibly a building, is situated immediately to the E.

Information from RCAHMS (GFG) 9 May 2011.
