A farmstead comprising the turf and stone footings of three rectangular buildings (NOSAS site survey numbers 1029, 1030 & 1032) an enclosure (1033) and an eroded earthen boundary bank (1031) are situated on a raised river terrace on the W bank of the River Meig some 500m to the SSW of the present Glenmeinich farmhouse. Only a pond is depicted at this location on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross-shire 1881, sheet xcvi).
