This pit-defined enclosure is situated on a broad terrace to the ENE of Silvie Wood and has been recorded as cropmarks on oblique aerial photographs (RCAHMSAP 1977, 1994 and 2003). An arc of pits forms a rough C-shape, open to the N and NW, measuring about 100m across. A gas pipeline running from N to S across the field has been recorded as a cropmark.
