Construction (1964 - 1968)
A public housing development of three multi-storey blocks built in two phases for Kirkcaldy Borough Council. Phase I comprises two blocks: 1-86 Ravenscraig and 87-172 Ravenscraig. Together, these two blocks consisted of 172 dwellings. Construction commenced in 1964. Phase II of the development consisted of the third and final block, 173-258 Ravenscraig. This block contains another 86 dwellings; construction commenced in 1968. The contractor for both phases was Wimpey.
