Archaeology Notes

NX29SW 37 centred 2012 9315 and 2016 9331

At least two areas of rig and furrow cultivation have been identified from oblique aerial photographs (RCAHMSAP 2008) immediately E and N of the Dinvin Motte (NX29SW 1). That to the E is situated on sloping ground and would appear to be of the reverse-S typ,e whilst that to the N is more regular and broad situated in a more level field.

A further fragmented area of rig and furrow is situated to the SW.

Information from RCAHMS (DE), January 2009
