NO18SE 1 1795 8437.

The Priest's Well, chalybeate spring, which in former times was accounted holy, exists at the lower end of Callater Loch (NO 1784).

There is a strong chalybeate spring at NO 1795 8437. There is no local knowledge of the name Priest's Well but it was called Fuaran Tackart (Priest's Well) in 1807 (Information from Estate map held at Invercauld House).
